Of course, the hat is only for the entrance and exit, but where would you put it on? What vehicle would accommodate it?
An open carriage perhaps or a convertible.
Sometimes we have to be satisfied with an 'in theory' piece unless we are performers and have the advantage of a dressing room backstage... It is an architectural gem though, isn't it?
The choice here is more of a nod to Philip Treacy and his amazing work. I'm sure he has made a more suitable chapeau for this ensemble, but it really is more fun to explore his wilder side sometimes.
